A Change In Plans

I finished my last book and kept hoping my copy of I Capture The Castle would arrive - alas, it has not. I decided to read The Wind In The Willows as it's relatively short. It was written by Kenneth Grahame in 1908 and is a children's book - that's all I know.

I love this time when I haven't read a page and am so convinced I will love the new book! I hope I do.

  1. Yes. You are certainly going to love Wind in the Willows! (I think!) I just re-read it a few months ago, and was happy I did.

Is it possible you really didn't know the story ahead of time? Didn't see the Disney version?

  2. I started The Wind in the Willows, but stopped for some reason and haven't picked it back up. I'm curious to hear whether you enjoy it. I think it might be a fun one to read aloud to my kids.

I hope your copy of I Capture the Castle arrives soon. I've heard great things about it and it's also waiting on my shelf to be read.

  3. Susan, I never saw the movie. Apparently I missed out!

Kristi, I love The Wind In The Willows! And I received I Capture The Castle, so I'll start it as soon as I finish this one.
